Enhanced Strength and Electrical Conductivity in Graphite-Cement Mortars with Carbonized Titanium-Bearing Blast Furnace Slag as an Aggregate

Titanium-containing carbide slag (TCS) is the product obtained by high-temperature carbothermal reduction in Titanium-bearing blast furnace (TBFS), which contains a large amount of TiC phase with excellent electrical conductivity. In this paper, conductive cement mortar was prepared TCS as an aggregate and graphite phase. The content on compressive strength resistivity investigated. results showed that replacement standard sand not only significantly reduced mortar, but also improved its strength. When 10 wt%, exhibited comprehensive performance 28d 34.0 MPa 2.9 Ω m dry condition, respectively. paper provided new way both for utilization TBFS preparation mortars.
